ABOUT

Language conservation is the effort to prevent languages from becoming unknown. A language is at risk of being lost when it no longer is taught to younger generations, while fluent speakers of the language (usually the elderly) die.

We, the four students of  FLAME UNIVERSITY have gotten an opportunity to showcase a database on this very graceful topic of our Indian languages that are on the verge of dying as a part of our digital humanities course.  The idea behind this project is to make a database of the languages that need to be conserved and the resources available for them as we believe language is a way of expressing yourself and it can't be the same feeling when expressed in some other language. Hence, there was a need to conserve Indian languages for which we are doing our small part by collating all the resources that are available online. We hope you support us in our efforts.
